CHANGELOG IdoSell - August 2024

As part of the IdoSell changelog, we periodically report on news, updates and changes to the IdoSell software. Invariably, we publish design news and information about the release of new functionality within separate entries. The following changelog release presents the scope of changes in August 2024.

As a reminder, as of June 2024 we have introduced a new formula for publishing the changelog. It will be published once a month, as a summary of the changes from the whole month.


  • Adding blacklist pagination

We have added pagination to the customer blacklist in the store panel. Until now, there was no pagination option on the customer blacklist. In scenarios where the list had a very large number of entries, there could be difficulties loading the entire list. We have introduced pagination to the list and limited the display to 100 entries per page, so there should no longer be problems loading the list.

COP

  • Changes to login and shopping cart holding for non-logged-in customers

We have added changes to the operation of soft login and shopping cart holding for non-logged-in customers. If a customer is soft logged in, they will see the contents of a previously created shopping cart (e.g. after one day). In addition, we have extended the holding time for such shopping carts from 2 to 60 days.

What is the so-called soft login? When a customer finishes a session in the store, but, for example, returns to the same store's website again in a few hours, a “light login” will be performed based on his login and there will be no need to enter login data again.

Product Feed

  • Skroutz.gr - improve the determination of delivery time for goods in M0

We have improved the mechanism responsible for calculating the delivery time for goods in the M0 warehouse only. Thanks to this change, the product feed for Skroutz.gr contains more accurate information about the expected delivery time of goods.

  • Include delivery costs to pickup points in product feed for Google Shopping

Google has made changes to allow pick-up points delivery costs to be sent within Google Shopping feeds in some countries. Therefore, we have changed the calculation of delivery cost rates for Google Shopping product feeds so that pick-up point delivery costs are included for feeds targeting the following countries. The change applies to the following countries:

Eparagony

  • Add queues to the mechanism for issuing eparagony

We have added a functionality that, in the situation of temporary lack of access to the eparagony server, will display an information on the order card that an eparagony is being issued. When the connection to the server is available again, the system will automatically download the eparagony to the store panel.

  • Optimization of the mechanism responsible for sending the eparagony to the buyer's email

We have optimized the automation responsible for sending the eparagony to the buyer's email when the order reaches a certain status. When the order reaches the status of shipped, the email with the eparagony will be automatically sent to the customer.

  • Securing the POS application from issuing eparagony

Currently, generating eparagony from the POS application is not possible, so this option has been further secured so that it does not cause errors in the integration with the panel.

Marketplaces

Allegro

  • "Wysyłam z Allegro" - changes the currency passed to Allegro service when generating shipments

We have changed the currency passed to the Allegro service when generating shipments for couriers Allegro Shipping from Poland to Slovakia - Packeta Point Machines and Allegro Shipping from Poland to Czech Republic - Packeta Point Pickup. Thanks to this, we have eliminated the problem of transferring the wrong currency, which prevented the generation of labels.

  • "Wysyłam z Allegro" - Allegro One Courier delivery for tomorrow (Poland) - adding custom sizes

The ability to define custom dimensions has been added to the courier configuration, so that the customer can enter the dimensions of the parcels he uses most often in the configuration. By default, the configuration is set to the dimensions of parcels given on the Allegro website.

  • Change in issuing bids with VAT exemption

We have improved the mechanism responsible for listing offers with VAT exemption. We now support the scenario in which a seller who is a VAT payer can issue a VAT-exempt bid.

  • Fix relisting of auctions if an error occurred on the first attempt

We have fixed a bug that occurred in group editing of goods. It caused a situation where if the first time the listing failed, each subsequent attempt ended with the same error.

Amazon

  • Improved Hermes courier code mapping when sending order tracking information

We have changed the way the generated tracking number information is sent for orders from Amazon, where the indicated delivery method is Hermes courier. As a result, we have eliminated the problem of end customers being able to track their shipments.

Empik Marketplace

  • Import orders from Empik Marketplace to IdoSell panel by external system code

Until now, goods in the order were identified only by manufacturer code. Now we have added to the integration with Empik Marketplace the option to identify orders by the code of the external system.

CSC

  • Changes to the broker shipment report in CSC

We have implemented fixes to the brokered shipments report in CSC, because until now there were duplicated recent packages.

Transaction messages

  • Sending SMS messages from the order card

We fixed a bug that prevented SMS messages from being sent when the customer's company name was not completed in the configuration.

Magazines

  • The code settings for the goods search engine will be taken into account when adding products to the PZ document (in CSV mode)

We have improved the way goods are identified when adding them to a PZ document from a CSV file to ensure accuracy, even when goods have an identical IAI code in the KZS field in another product.

Settlements

  • Include VAT rate mapping mechanism per country for goods with price configurator

We have extended the VAT OSS mechanism to goods with price configurator to properly take into account the rate mapping on the goods card and in the ordering process.

  • Improved generation of correction document register for returns with FK and confirmation

We have made improvements in the generation process of the correcting document register, which eliminates the increased values of the sales total on returns with correction invoice and confirmation of the return. Now the registers are created with the correct values.

Orders

  • Improved adding orders via APIOrders for different languages

We have improved APIOrders to allow adding orders regardless of the language set in the API key. Now you can also place orders in languages other than Polish without any problems.

Merchandise

  • Fixing bug causing icon override for goods in group

We have removed a bug that caused the icon to overwrite itself for grouped goods.

  • Fixing discount conversion in subscription orders with other currencies

We have fixed a scenario with price conversion in subscription orders that occurred when the first order was in a different currency than the store's currency. Now the system correctly calculates the discount for this type of order.

  • Improved return of productShopsAttributes parameter in Admin API 3

We have improved the Admin 3 API so that the productShopsAttributes parameter in the products/products/get response is always returned as an array, according to the documentation. This makes API3 integration more compatible and consistent.

  • Restore update of automatically calculated prices for sets for goods in marketplace services

We have clarified the scenario in which the automatic pricing mechanism for sets for marketplace did not update prices according to the established algorithm. Now the mechanism works as expected, ensuring correct calculation of prices.

Couriers

  • Enabling courier drive-up ordering for shipments in DHL Foreign Delivery service

Communication with DHL Parcel API has been adjusted to the changes made to the API. With this update, it is now possible to order courier drive-up.

  • Restore pickup point update for DPD courier

We have improved the performance of the DPD courier pickup point list update mechanism. This has eliminated problems with processing orders to inactive pickup points.

  • Improved generation of A4 PDF labels in InPost Smile courier service

We have improved the mechanism for downloading labels in A4 PDF format for the InPost Smile courier service. With this change, the printed labels are A4 instead of A6P.

Complaints

  • Refinement of the variable that returns the account number to be refunded in returns/reclaims on custom documents

We have refined the [iai:rma_repayment_method] variable, which now correctly returns the account number provided by the customer on returns and complaints documents. With this update, account numbers are correctly presented on custom documents, making them easier to handle.

  • Handling the scenario of returning an incomplete full list of goods from a complaint via API

We have made a fix in API Admin v3 so that a GET request to rma/rma/get always returns a full list of goods when the complaint includes more than one product. As a result, API responses are now fully consistent with the complaint data.
