The summary of changes in STANDARD templates from August 2021

On September 8th we have released new STANDARD templates. The registration page, menu for mobile devices, the product return card and the product card have been greatly refreshed and improved. The new product card in STANDARD B2B v3 has been redesigned from the ground up for wholesale customers buying products in multiple variants and sizes. The STANDARD Fashion v3 template also received a refreshed product card designed with the fashion industry in mind.

We have made it possible to add multiple items at once from a B2B product card

Listening to the needs of customers selling in B2B we have developed a number of key changes. The new product card in STANDARD B2B v3 has been completely redesigned with convenient wholesale in mind. Adding products to the cart in several completely different variants or sizes is now done with a single click, which not only makes shopping easier but also significantly reduces the time needed to place an order.

Dedicated Fashion product card

In the clothing industry, the purchase decision is made mainly on the basis of photos, so in the new product card designed for the STANDARD Fashion v3 template, it is the gallery that plays the first fiddle, and the product details have been slimmed down and simplified. A large part of customers "buy with their eyes", so it is important to present good quality photos so that the customer can accurately assess the product and learn as much as possible about it.

STANDARD masks support presentation of prices on net and gross

The latest revision of STANDARD templates also brings support for the long-awaited ability to change prices in your shop without recoding the mask. From now on you can decide whether the prices visible to your customers are net or gross values using a new module from IdoSell. The information about displayed prices can be found in the redesigned footer. The footer also shows for which country the VAT rates are calculated, which is in line with the VAT OSS module introduced in June.

Brand new menu for mobile devices

When redesigning the menu for mobile devices we focused on ease and comfort of use. We've introduced a division into three separate tabs, making the navigation menu have a dedicated tab while being easier to read, and the other account and settings sections don't require you to scroll down in the menu, which may have made them harder to find.

Product returns have become even more convenient

The product return card has been significantly refreshed to make the process of sending back unwanted purchases even easier. This was possible thanks to a clear presentation of the steps you need to take in the return process and a clear summary of the value of the returned products. The card also makes it easier to send the return from the Parcel Machine "by code", without the need to print a label. This feature will soon be available in all IdoSell shops using the latest STANDARD masks.

Address breakdown into two separate street and house number fields

The improved registration page informs users in a more intuitive way about incorrectly completed or omitted fields.

Listening to your suggestions, instead of one field for address, there are now 2 fields. In one, the customer enters the street number and in the other one the house number, thanks to which the customer will not forget to enter the house number. With foreign addresses in mind, we have now made it possible to leave the field for the house number blank. If this happens, you will be asked whether the omission of this field is an oversight or intentional. If they confirm that it is intentional, the action will be as before. We felt this was the best way for these fields to work, without the need to force an address, which may not work in every case.

  • Information about savings from a purchase in a set/collection has been improved
  • Improved filters in STANDARD 3 v3
  • Improved adding to cart from product list in STANDARD B2B v3
