TradeTracker is an affiliate network. What does this mean? TradeTracker is an entity that acts as an intermediary between advertisers and publishers, giving them the opportunity to contact each other and exchange promotional material. TradeTracker provides the technology with which both advertisers (e.g. online shop owners) and publishers can optimise their online marketing activities.
Within an affiliate programme, publishers promote an online shop and direct customers who are about to buy a promoted product straight to your online shop. Completed transactions are recorded in the shop and on the affiliate network platform. TradeTracker's tasks include settling accounts with publishers, as well as supporting the promotional campaign on the part of account managers.
In IdoSell we have added a built-in integration with an affiliate network. Once the integration is activated, the product feed generation is triggered within 24 hours and the necessary tracking mechanisms are activated.
Activating the integration is simple:
You can also configure currency and language if required. You can also decide which goods you want to include in your product feed. You can find the settings both on the commodity card (tab Shopping Carts) and more globally in the TradeTracker Comparison configuration (available in Marketing & Integrations / Price Comparison, Shopping Carts and Catalogs).
Once you have completed the above steps, you will receive an offer from the publisher. In the TradeTracker panel you will be able to accept it and then track the campaign results. From the IdoSell panel, you can track the orders acquired through TradeTracker by filtering out in the list only those that will have the mentioned affiliate network in the source of visits. An appropriate filter is also added in the register of sales documents and in the list of sold goods.
