We have updated the default and automatically complementary content of the regulations and privacy policy, which you can use in your store at no extra charge, with virtually one click. If you are already using the auto-generated content option, it will be included without any required action on your part.
Below you will find the changes that we have made to the default content of the store regulations and the privacy and cookies policy. The changes apply to the Polish and English versions of the regulations.
We also remind you that, as the owner of the online store, you must ensure that you inform your customers about the changes made.
Changes to the content of the store regulations
§ 2. General provisions
- 2.1 Information about Internet Explorer has been removed and information about Microsoft Edge has been added. Internet Explorer has not been supported by Microsoft for a long time and it is not necessary to mention it in the regulations. There was no information about the successor of this browser, i.e. Microsoft Edge.
- 2.3 This point has been completely removed: "The contents, including descriptions of Goods and prices, placed on the pages of the Online Shop constitute an invitation to conclude a contract within the meaning of Article 71 of the polish Civil Code. They gain binding character - for the purposes of concluding a specific contract - only when the Client sends an order, which takes place by clicking the "[iai:place_order_button_txt]" button."
§ 4. Payment
- 4.1 The record of variables for the available payment methods has been corrected.
§ 5. Delivery
- 5.1 From this point, the sentence has been deleted: "The Seller reserves the right to change the method of delivery chosen by the Client without additional costs for the Client."
New wording of point 5.1: "On the Electronic order form, the Client selects the method of delivery by ticking the choice made."
Changes to the content of the privacy policy and cookies
§ 10. Cookies
10.12 The wording of this point has been changed: "Cookies may be used by advertising networks, in particular the Google network, to display ads tailored to the way in which the Customer uses the Online Shop. In this purpose, they may retain information about the Customer's navigation path or the time of staying on a given website."
New wording of point 10.13: "Cookies may be used by the Google network to display advertisements tailored to the way the Customer/User uses the Online Shop. For this purpose, they can store information about the user's navigation path or time spent on a given page: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites."
